Loop Seminar #1-Audio/Video Recordings of Poems

The Loop group is organizing its first seminar session on audio and video recordings of poems. The session will be an opportunity to discuss studio recordings and live performances of poems in parallel with the texts. The list of poems submitted for the session, as well as the links to their recordings, will also be circulated, so you can listen to them and read them ahead of the session. Bastien Goursaud will be the moderator.
Reading / Listening Programme: “Prayer” by Zaffar Kunial, “The Republic of Motherhood” by Liz Berry, “Reggae Sounds” by Linton Kwesi Johnson, part of “Mary Looking Through the Looking Glass” by Geraldine Monk, “Them & [uz]” by Tony Harrison, “Gus – The Theatre Cat” by T.S. Eliot (read by Groucho Marx), “Chickentown” by John Cooper Clarke, “Unrelated Incidents” and “Good Style” by Tom Leonard.
